ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Through painting, I survey the complexities of emotion, those of which are difficult to navigate and understand. Creating visual representations of these emotions and the internal process of dealing with them is a challenge which forces a new and unique perspective. This results in alternate ways of understanding for the artist and viewer alike. My paintings often combine elements of literal representation, and connotative, inexplicit objects, to create a deep, dimensional narrative.
